Composition: Al-60Mo is a binary master alloy containing 60% Mo with Al as the balance, where the number denotes the mass percentage of the alloying element (Mo). It acts as a special high-efficiency additive carrier for molybdenum in manufacturing aluminum-based, titanium-based alloys and superalloys, addressing the industrial issues of pure molybdenum including 2620℃ ultra-high melting point, poor compatibility with base metals and segregation tendency during addition.
